Share iPhone Contacts via iTunes:
NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with Internet access, you can sync the contacts on your iPhone with your Google account. You can then sync the account data, including contacts, with the Nokia 2.
- Connect the iPhone to the PC via USB
- Open iTunes on the computer and click the iPhone
- Access Info and enable Sync Contacts With
- Select Google Contacts from the drop-down menu
- Log in with your Google account or click Configure and select an existing account
- Click Apply to start the sync
- Once the sync is done, switch to the Android device and log in with the same account used in iTunes
- Allow the account to sync contacts with the Android phone
Share iPhone Contacts via iCloud:
NOTE: In case your iPhone contacts are already backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer with Internet access and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.
- Open the Internet browser on the computer
- Head down to https://www.icloud.com/
- Sign in with your iCloud account
- Go to Contacts
- Select the desired contact and click Settings > Export vCard
- Once the vCard is done, perform the following:
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts or:
- Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and use Contacts to import it to your phonebook
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: While the two methods above require a computer with Internet access, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third party app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.
- Visit the App Store and install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone
- Open the app and tap Backup
- Once the backup is complete, tap Email
- Compose a new email ensuring the vCard is attached
- Send the email to your own address
- On the Android device, open the email and download the vCard attachment
- Import the vCard to the phonebook via Contacts
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Another third party app you can use is Send Anywhere, available on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to share contacts without requiring computer access.
- Visit the App Store and install Send Anywhere on the iPhone
- Install the same app on the Android device via the Play Store
- Launch the app on both devices
- On the iPhone, tap Send > Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and tap Send
- Lastly, select a transfer method and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
