Share iPhone Contacts Using iTunes:
NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with Internet access, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account, then sync the account data, and contacts, with the Android phone.
- Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
- Launch iTunes on the computer and click the iPhone
- Go to Info
- Enable Sync Contacts With and sign in with your Google account
- Alternatively, click Configure and select an existing account
- Click Apply to star the sync
- Once the process completes, switch to the Android phone and log in with the same account used in iTunes
- Allow the account to sync contacts with the Android phone
Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:
NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can log in with the account on a computer with an Internet connection and export the vCard for use on the Android device.
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer
- Visit https://www.icloud.com/
- Log in with your iCloud account and go to Contacts
- Select the contacts you want to share and click Settings > Export vCard
- Once the process completes, perform one of the following steps:
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts, or:
- Connect the Android device to the PC via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import it to your phonebook via Contacts
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: While the methods above require a computer with Internet access, you can also share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps like My Contacts Backup. This is an iOS third-party app that can back up and share contacts via email.
- Install the app on the iPhone from the App Store
- Launch the app and create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
- Compose an email ensuring the vCard is attached
- Send the vCard to your own address
- On the Android phone, open the email and download the vCard
- Import the vCard to your phonebook via Contacts
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third-party app you can use, on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-to-peer connection to share contacts and other file types, cross-platform, without requiring computer access.
- Install Send Anywhere on the iPhone from the App Store, and on the Android phone from the Play Store
- Open the app on both phones
- On the sender device, tap Send and select the desired contacts
- Tap Send again and select a transfer method on one of the phones
- Follow the prompts to complete the process
