How-to: Nokia 3.1 Plus: Manage Incoming Calls, Messages, and Manage Call Forwarding

Block Incoming Calls from a Contact:

1. Open “Contacts”
2. Go to “All contacts”
3. Tap the contact/phone number you want to block
4. Tap “Edit” > “Menu”
5. Enable “All calls to voicemail”

Unblock Calls:

1. Open “Contacts”
2. Access “All contacts”
3. Tap the contact you want to unblock
4. Tap “Edit” > “Menu” and disable “All calls to voicemail”

Block Messages:

1. Open Google Messages
2. Select the conversation exchanged with the contact/phone number you want to block
3. Tap “Menu” > “People & Options
4. Tap “Block [phone number]”
5. Press “OK”

NOTE: The conversation exchanged with the contact and future messages will be archived, and notification alerts will be disabled for archived messages.

Unblock Messages:

1. Open Google Messages
2. Tap “menu” > “archived”
3. Select the conversation exchanged with the number/contact you want to unblock
4. Tap “Menu” > “Unarchive”
5. Tap “Menu” again and go to “People & Options”
6. Tap “Unblock [phone number]”

Enable Call Forwarding:

1. Open “Phone”
2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
3. Access “Call forwarding”
4. Edit or enter the phone number you want to use for call forwarding
5. Tap “Enable” to confirm

Enable Conditional Call Forwarding:

1. Open “Phone”
2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
3. Go to “Call forwarding”
4. Select to forward calls “When unanswered” ‘When unreachable” or “When busy”
5. Edit or enter the phone number you want to use for call forwarding
6. Tap “Enable” / “Update”

Disable Call Forwarding:

1. Open “Phone”
2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
3. Go to “Call forwarding”
4. Select the forwarding option you want to turn off
5. Tap “Disable” to confirm
