Hi, my friend's Panasonic X300 is giving this "open slider" error message when using the camera (the slider is already open btw). This is a used phone, and Panasonic totally ignore me when I ask them the quote for reparing the phone.

I would be much appriciated if someone has any solution to this, or recommandation of any cell phone repair center.

    Check for software updates
    Clear the camera cache
    Restart your phone
    Check the camera lens
    Reset your phone
If the issue persists, contact support or take your phone to a service center for further assistance.

Re: X300 Camera problem. Help Plz!!

Here are some tips that may help resolve this:

Try cleaning the area around the lens cover slider with a soft brush or compressed air. Dust or debris could be obstructing the slider mechanism.
Inspect the lens cover slider track for any damage or obstruction. Something may be physically blocking it from opening fully.
Reset the camera to factory settings in case it's a software issue. Go to Settings > Backup & Reset > Factory Data Reset.
Update the camera app and phone software in case a bug is causing problems with the camera slider function.
As a last resort, the lens cover slider mechanism may need to be repaired/replaced.
You can also look into selling the phone for parts online and putting that money towards a used replacement.
