Share iPhone Contacts via iTunes:
NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data and contacts with the Panasonic device.
- Connect the iPhone to your computer via USB
- Open iTunes on the computer and click the iPhone
- Go to Info and enable Sync Contacts With
- Select Google Contacts in the drop-down menu and log in with your Google account, or click Configure and select an existing account
- Click Apply to start the sync
- After the sync is done, switch to the Android phone and log in with the same account used in iTunes
- Allow the account to sync contacts with your Android device
Share iPhone Contacts via iCloud Backup:
NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can log in with your account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.
- Open the Internet browser on the computer
- Go to https://www.icloud.com/
- Sign in with your iCloud account and go to Contacts
- Select the desired contact and click Settings > Export vCard
- After the vCard has been downloaded on the PC, perform one of the following steps:
- Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts or:
- Connect the Android phone to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and use Contacts to import it to your phonebook
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: While the two methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.
- Go to the App Store and install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone
- Open the app and tap Backup to create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
- Once the vCard is done, tap Email
- Write a new email and ensure the vCard is attached
- Send the email and attachment to your own address
- Switch to the Android phone, open the email and download the vCard attachment
- Import the vCard to your phonebook via Contacts
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third party app you can use for transferring iOS contacts, available on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to share contacts and other file types without requiring a PC.
- Visit the App Store and install Send Anywhere on the iPhone
- Install the same app on the Android device from the Play Store
- Launch the app on both smartphones
- On the iPhone, tap Send > Contacts
- Select the contacts you want to share
- Tap Send
- Lastly, select a transfer method on one of the devices and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
