Share iPhone Contacts Using iTunes:

NOTE: You can use iTunes on a computer with Internet access to sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data, and contacts, with the Android phone.

  1. Connect the iPhone to the PC via USB
  2. Launch iTunes on the PC and click the iPhone
  3. Access “Info” and enable “Sync Contacts With”
  4. Select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  5. Sign in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  6. When ready, click “Apply” to start the sync
  7. Once the sync is done, switch to the Android device and sign in with the same account used in iTunes
  8. Set the account to sync contacts with the Android device

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can sign in with your iCloud account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account
  4. Go to “Contacts”
  5. Select the contacts you want to share and click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  6. Once done, perform one of the following steps:
    • Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to “Google contacts” or:
    • Connect the Android device to the PC via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and use “Contacts” to import the vCard to your phonebook

Using My Contacts Backup:

NOTE: While the methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app you can use to share contacts via email.

  1. Install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone via the App Store
  2. Open the app and tap “Backup” to create a vCard file containing your iPhone contacts
  3. Once the process completes, compose an email and ensure the vCard is attached
  4. Send the email to your own address
  5. Switch to the Android device, open the email and download the vCard attachment
  6. Import the vCard to your phonebook via “Contacts”

Using Send Anywhere:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third-party app you can use, available on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-to-peer connection to share contacts and other file types, cross-platform, without requiring computer access.

  1. Install the app on the Android phone from the Play Store
  2. Install the app on the iPhone via the App Store
  3. Launch the app on both devices
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts” and select the desired contacts
  5. Tap “Send” and then select a transfer method on one of the phones
  6. Follow the prompts to complete the process
