I just bought a Pearl 8100 and I don't know what I'm doing. I have blackberry lite with Cincinnati Bell Wireless. I'm probably not allowed to get on the internet but I do anyways through Opra Mini but when I want to download something or stream a video (etc.) it goes back to the original browser and then gives me this error:
HTTP Error 403: Forbidden

Is there something I'm doing wrong or a way I can get around this?

Re: HTTP Error 403: Forbidden
Thanks for helping me out with this...
I figured out I have a limited data plan which is why the 403 is coming up. I wanna get around this.
Anyways... I'm in Opra Mini and I'm on the youtube page and I click 'watch video' ...it then goes straight to the cincinnati bell browser or whatever and gives me the 403 error
Also any site to try and download anything... I've tried them all...
Any help would be appreciated

Re: HTTP Error 403: Forbidden
Probably no way to get around this.
I notice this sometimes whenever I'm on my Verizon Wireless cell phone as well.
Me (an employee of Verizon for a while and then now another wireless related employee) and the Verizon Wireless employees do not know exactly what causes this. Since it is almost forbidden to receive viruses or spyware on a cell phone, I have linked this issue with an unsafe website. So, it is probably just because the site isn't that safe...

Re: HTTP Error 403: Forbidden
Not necessarily.
The wireless carrier tends to place restrictions on certain things.
YouTube is considered a data intensive site which means you will be billed extra ordinary fees for using it without some form of unlimited data. You wireless carrier may simply say it is not allowed to view that specific site.
And YouTube is definitely not the safest site.
