Sync iPhone Contacts with Google via iTunes:
NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with an active Internet connection, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data, including contacts, with the BlackBerry Aurora
- Connect the iPhone to your computer using the Lightning cable
- Launch iTunes on the computer
- In iTunes, click the iPhone and go to Info
- Enable Sync Contacts With
- Select Google Contacts from the drop-down menu and sign in with your Google account
- Click Configure and select an existing account
- Click Apply to start the sync
- Once the sync is complete, switch to the BlackBerry Aurora and register the same Google account used in iTunes
- Set the account to sync contacts with your phone
Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:
NOTE: In case your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can sign in to iCloud on a computer with Internet access and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer
- Visit https://www.icloud.com/
- Sign in with your iCloud account
- Go to Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and click Settings > Export vCard
- After the vCard has been downloaded, follow one of the steps below:
- Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts, or:
- Connect the BlackBerry Aurora to your PC via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import its contents via Contacts
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: Although the methods above require a computer with an active Internet connection, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts via third party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third party app that can back up and transfer contacts via email.
- Go to the App Store and install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone
- Launch the app and tap Backup
- Once the backup file is done, tap Email
- Ensure the vCard file is attached and send the email to your own address
- Switch to the BlackBerry device and open the email
- Download the vCard attachment and import it via Contacts
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Another third party app you can use is Send Anywhere. The app uses a p2p connection to transfer contacts and other types of files without requiring a computer.
- Visit the Google Play Store and install Send Anywhere on the BlackBerry
- Install the same app on the iPhone via the App Store
- Launch the app on both devices
- On the iPhone, tap Send > Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and tap Send
- Lastly, select the desired transfer method and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
