Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Connect the Android device to the computer via USB
- On the phone, enable Media device / File Transfer when prompted or from teh Notification area
- Launch the File Explorer on the PC
- Locate the audio files on the computer
- Copy and paste the desired files to the phone storage, in the Ringtones and Notifications directories
- Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open Settings
- Go to Sound & Notification
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap OK and optionally, enable or disable Also vibrate for calls
Change a Specific Contacts Ringtone:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned for contacts located on the phones internal memory or the SIM card.
- Launch Contacts
- Tap and hold the contact whose ringtone you want to change
- Tap Edit > Menu
- Tap Set ringtone and select the desired ringtone
- Tap OK to confirm
Change the Notification Alert Sound:
- Open Settings
- Go to Sound & notification
- Tap Default notification ringtone
- Select the desired notification alert
- Tap OK
