Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Connect the Android device to the PC via USB
- On the phone, enable Media device / File Transfer when prompted or from the Notification area
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer
- Navigate to the audio files on the PC
- Copy and transfer the desired files to the phone storage in the Ringtones and Notifications directories
- Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Launch Settings
- Go to Sound & Notification
- Select the ringtone you want to assign and tap OK
- Optionally, you can choose to enable or disable Also vibrate for calls
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: You cant set custom ringtones for contacts stored on the phones memory or the SIM card.
- Launch Contacts
- Tap and hold the desired contact
- Tap Edit > Menu > Set ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap OK
Change the Notification Alert Sound:
- Open Settings
- Go to Sound & Notification
- Tap Default notification ringtone
- Select the desired notification alert
- Tap OK
