Does anyone know if there is a program which can remove the copy protection bit from MMF files? I find that the Yamaha converter often produces the best results but would still like to be able to load the MMF back into PSMplayer and re-save if I want to edit the file attributes etc. Also handy for messing with MMFs off the net. TIA

OK as far as i know, In copy protected files, the 13th byte of the file is set to 1
In not protected files, its set to 0
so get out your hex editor and change it. It worked for me once, dunno if it works for the phones tho, also something with the last 2 bytes. not sure
