Polyphonic tones incorporate digitally-encoded instrument tracks in an attempt to digitally recreate the sound of a song. Truetones are actual clips of the real songs themselves. Polyphonics are usually much clearer and truer on all phones, while Truetones require an adequate speaker setup to be able to be heard clearly and loudly.
and i wonder
if anything could ever feel this real forever
if anything could ever be this good again

yeah, this is the difference between midi ( polyphonic) and mp3 (truesound). and bTW, monophonic ones are the ones that sound really bad, and are mostly on old phones
