i like the classics
i think they make the best ringtones
especially like a classic beat or rif
like anyway you want it-journey
or more recently... something like
dancing in the moonlight because it has a great opening beat

I would think any song you like would make a good ringtone. What I cant stand is a ring back tone. Why in the world would people want to punish their friends by making them sit through a song that they may not even like. As is with when I call my best friend. I cant stand his ringback tone

Humm firehoyt.....not all ringbacks are music tones. I have one right now that is hilarious. It's a voicetone ringback by Ricky Smiley (comedian) and everytime someone calls my phone they laugh when I answer saying that ringback is funny. I like songs with good guitar riffs that can be looped easily. Some of my favorites are; It's Only Love (Bryan Adams), Ain't Much Fun (Toby Keith), Bad To The Bone (George Thorogood), Borrowed Time (Styx), I Can't Explain (Scorpions), Clocks (Coldplay) - I know, it's piano -, Easy Come Easy Go (Winger), Fall To Pieces (Velvet Revolver), Long Time (Boston), Hells Bells (AC/DC) Pour Some Sugar On Me (Def Leppard), Suite Madame Blue (Styx), Sweet Child O' Mine (GNR) andTeas'n Pleas'n (Dangerous Toys). I also like songs that can easily be edited down to beginning and end to sound good. Some of those are; Mama Mia (Abba), All Things Considered (Yankee Grey), Baba O'Riley (The Who), Gel and Heavy (Collective Soul), Stayin' Alive (Bee Gees), and Won't Get Fooled Again (The Who).

I found a free instrumental version of "Deck the Halls" online, so I downloaded it, cut it down to size using Audacity, and made a ringtone for the Christmas season. Hidden Content
