The Samusung i9000 Galaxy S was recently shown at CTIA, which is an Android device that sports a 4.0" Super Amoled display. The Samsung i9000 Galaxy S is a GSM device and it is not exactly known which carrier will end up with the handset, but there are some assumptions that AT&T may just be that carrier. AT&T is said to be coming out with 5 new android devices this summer and the Galaxy S may just be one of them according to the documents above.

Both documents present almost the same info except for the model number and the date of certification. The Samsung i9000 Galaxy S may also be the Samsung i897. AT&T has been known to release Samsung devices with the A or I as the beginning digits and the number 7 as the last digit. The above documents seem to make us believe that this handset will soon be coming to AT&T.
