The Samsung Galaxy S T959 was confirmed by the FCC sometime last week and will soon be launched by T-Mobile. The launch has not been announced officially, but the phone does sport T-Mobile branding and according to CellPhoneSignal, the Samsung Galaxy S T959 will actually be called Samsung Vibrant.

The Samsung Vibrant that is headed to T-Mobile looks similar to that of the Galaxy S i9000 that has been seen in several European and Asian markets. The Vibrant features: Unlike the Captivate, the Samsung Vibrant for T-Mobile looks almost exactly like the Galaxy S i9000 that some European and Asian customers can already buy. The smartphone features: a 4 inch WVGA Super AMOLED display, 1GHz processor, Android 2.1, 5MP camera, and HD video recording.

The expected launch date for the Samsung Vibrant is July 23.
