Setting up Personal Email Accounts


1. Go to the Home screen and tap Email.
2. Or if you already have an account created and would like to create another one, then access the inbox of your first account, tap the Menu key -> select Settings -> tap the Plus Sign icon to add another account.
3. Now enter your email address and password in the designated fields and tap Next.
Note: If you have more than one email account set up on your Samsung Galaxy Express, at this point you can check the option to Send email from this account by default.
4. Then select the desired account options and tap Next.
5. Tap the Give this account a name field and enter the desired email account name.
6. Then tap Your Name field and enter the name as you’d like it to be displayed on the outgoing emails.
7. Then tap Done.
8. Your inbox will then be displayed.
9. If you want to make sure your email account has been successfully set up, you can send a test email.
In case you were unable to successfully set up your email account, make sure you have sufficient wireless signal, turn the airplane mode off and then on again, reboot your smartphone and then reattempt to set up your personal email account.

Setting up a Corporate Email Account

1. Go to the Home screen and tap Email.
2. Or if you already have an account created and would like to create another one, then access the inbox of your first account, tap the Menu key -> select Settings -> tap the Plus Sign icon to add another account.
3. In the designated fields, enter your email address and password -> then tap Manual setup.
Note: If you have more than one email account set up on your Samsung Galaxy Express, at this point you can check the option to Send email from this account by default.
4. Then tap Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync.
5. Enter your account information and tap Next. You will be required to enter the Domain/User name, Password, Exchange server and to select if you’d like to use a Secure Connection (SSL) or Client Certificate.
6. A notification will be prompted, tap OK if you want to continue.
7. Select the desired syncing options, such as sync email, contacts, calendar, SMS, tasks, etc.
8. When finished, tap Next.
9. In case there’s a security policy enabled, check out the security settings and tap Activate when you’re ready to continue.
10. Select and configure the desired account type, enter the email account label and tap Done when ready.
11. If you want to make sure your account has been successfully set up, try to send a text email.
