    For some reason it always seems to take a lot longer than it used to for the Swype keyboard to load up on my wife's SIII. Maybe since the 4.1.2 update?

    Anyone else having this problem?

    Try going to Settings > Developer Options > Enable Dev options > check "Force GPU rendering".

    Also try updating Swype: https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...ce.swype.trial

    Swype was taking ages to pop up on my huawei but playing with these gpu settings sorted it right out... Wow. Wasn't the one mentioned but the disable hardware overlays option. Thanks man, you made me happy.
