Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-I9500| How can I enable my 4G/LTE Network?

Hi, Im a bit frustrated with this ****. I been trying to find a solution to get my LTE to work, but nothing is working.

I called my provider(Fido) and they have all my network/LTE set up but im only getting 3G/H/H+ network on my data. My sim is LTE Enabled. I called Samsung, they told me to call Samsung Africa because that's where GT-I9500 is from, but I cant seem to reach they're phone number, I think im missng the area code or something. I have looked at the "More Networks" Under settings, only WCDMA & GSM are the only options there, no LTE.


Can anybody please help me?

Well there's your problem... The GT-i9500 does not have LTE. (http://cellphoneforums.net/samsung-g...-variants.html) If someone told you it did then they were wrong. The international version that has LTE is the GT-I9505

Furthermore, if you want LTE on Fido you more than likely have to get a GS4 that is programmed for Fido, which I believe is the SGH-I337M

So, can I have 4G/LTE on the GT-I9500 or no?

Also, what is this GS4 thingy? New to this stuff :P.

If I can have 4G/LTE , what would I have to do? Let me know, thanks.

Edit: I believe SGH-I337M is a model of Galaxy S4?

Im not in a contract with Fido where I can swap my phones, its an unlocked phone bought from Newegg.ca, so I gotta stick to the S4 GT-I9500 =/

Your phone doesn't have LTE, so no.

GS4 = Galaxy S4

Right, SGH-I337M = Galaxy S4 with the proper LTE radio for carriers in Canada.

Honestly, I would return the phone or sell it and get the SGH-I337M.
