Using iTunes to Transfer Contacts:

iTunes is a great syncing tool that allows you to sync your iPhone contacts with a Google account. The process is straightforward, and all you need is your iPhone's USB connector and access to a computer with iTunes installed. Synced contacts include their images, number, email and any additional notes and information.

  1. Open iTunes on your PC and connect your iPhone to the computer via USB
  2. After it connects, the iPhone will pop-up in iTunes. Click on it
  3. Go to the "Info" tab and mark the "Sync Contacts With" check box
  4. Next, select "Google Contacts" from the drop-down menu
  5. If you haven't added an account before, enter your Google log in credentials. Otherwise, click "Configure" and you can choose from a previously added account
  6. To start the syncing process, click "Apply"
  7. Once the process is finished, switch over to the Galaxy Round and add the same Google account. (To add an account, go to "Settings" > "Accounts"
  8. Allow Google to sync contacts with your device

Using iCloud to Transfer Contacts:

The iCloud back up service includes the option to exporting iPhone contacts in the form of a VCF file. As long as you've used iCloud before, chances are that your iPhone contacts have already been backed up. To complete the transfer using this method:

  1. Open your computer's Internet browser and go to https://www.icloud.com/
  2. Log in with your iCloud account, and click "Contacts"
  3. From the contact list, select the ones that you want to share
  4. When ready, click the button depicting a cog wheel, located in the lower-left area
  5. Select "Export vCard" and a VCF file will be downloaded on your PC
  6. Import the file to "Google Contacts", or alternatively, skip this step and perform the next one instead:
  7. Connect your Galaxy Round to the computer via USB, and copy the vCard file in the "sdcard" directory. Then, open the "Contacts" app, press "Menu" > "Import / Export" > "Import from SD card". Next, select an account if necessary, and choose the vCard file to import its contents in your phonebook

Using "My Contacts Backup":

My Contacts Backup is an iOS application that gives you the option to export your iPhone contacts via email, in the form of a vCard file. For this method you don't need access to a computer.

  1. Visit the App Store and download My Contacts Backup on your iPhone
  2. Open the application and go to "Backup"
  3. After the backup file has been created, tap "Email" and attach the VCF file to it
  4. Send the email to your own Gmail address
  5. On your Galaxy Round, open the email and download the VCF file attachment
  6. Import the file's contents using the contacts application (through the "Import / Export" feature)

Using "Bump" to Transfer Contacts:

Bump is a very clever app that can transfer contacts from one phone to another without the need for email addresses, Bluetooth or NFC capabilities. You also don't need a computer for this method. However, the app uses cloud connectivity for the transfer, so you need an active Internet connection on your smartphones.

  1. Visit the Play Store and download "Bump" on your Galaxy Round
  2. From the App Store, install the same app on your iPhone
  3. Switch to the iPhone and go to the contacts screen
  4. From the list of contacts, choose the ones that you want to transfer
  5. Once the "Bump now!" label appears in the top-right corner, gently bump the two smartphones together
  6. A "Connect" button should now pop-up on the display of both smartphones
  7. Tap "Connect" and the transfer will commence
