Using iTunes:

NOTE: If you have iTunes on your computer you can sync the contacts on your iPhone with your Google account. Afterwards you can sync your Google contacts with the SGS4 mini Plus. This method requires a computer with Internet access.

  1. Launch iTunes on the computer
  2. Connect the iPhone to your computer via USB
  3. After the iPhone appears in iTunes, click it to view the summary page
  4. Access the “Info” tab
  5. Enable “Sync Contacts With” and select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  6. Sign in to your Google account or click “Configure” and select an account from the list (if applicable0
  7. Click “Apply” to start the syncing process. Once done, register the same Google account on the S4 mini Plus and allow it to sync contacts with the account

Using iCloud:

NOTE: If you have used the iCloud back up service on the iPhone and your contacts are already backed up on your iCloud account, you can access it, export the contacts as a VCF file, and import the file to the S4 mini Plus

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account and click “Contacts”
  4. Select the contacts you want to share
  5. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  6. Once the VCF file is downloaded, import it to “Google Contacts” or skip this step and instead:
  7. Connect the S4 mini Plus to the computer via USB, transfer the file to the phone’s memory, and import its contents using the “Import” option from the “Contacts” app

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: While the methods above require a computer with an active Internet connection, you can transfer your contacts otherwise, through third party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can be used to back up and transfer contacts via email.

  1. Visit the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on your iPhone
  2. Launch the app and tap “Backup”
  3. After the backup file is created, tap “Email”
  4. Make sure the backup file is attached to the email, and send it to your own address
  5. On the SGS4 mini Plus, open the email and download the attached file
  6. Import the VCF file’s contents using the “Contacts” app

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is a third party app for Android and iOS that can be used to transfer contacts and other file types via a P2P connection, without needing a computer.

  1. Open the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Visit the Google Play Store and install the app on the Samsung device
  3. Launch the app on both handsets
  4. Tap “Send” > “Contacts” on the iPhone
  5. Select the contacts you want to share and tap “Send”
  6. Select the desired transfer method. You can tap “Generate QR Code” on the iPhone and scan the code with the Samsung phone’s camera to begin the transfer .You can also tap “Receive” on the Galaxy device, and manually enter the transfer code generated on the iPhone
