Share iPhone Contacts via iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync the contacts on your iPhone with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data and contacts with the Galaxy A3.

  1. Launch iTunes on the computer
  2. Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
  3. Click the iPhone in iTunes once it connects
  4. Access the “Info” tab and enable “Sync Contacts With”
  5. Select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  6. Sign in with your Google account, or alternatively, click “Configure” and select an existing account
  7. Click “Apply” to start the sync
  8. After the sync is complete, switch to the Samsung device and sign in with the same Google account used in iTunes
  9. Allow the account to sync contacts with your Android device

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:

NOTE: Assuming that your iPhone contacts are already backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.

  1. Launch the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Head down to https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account and go to “Contacts”
  4. Select the desired contacts
  5. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard” to download the vCard on your computer
  6. Once downloaded, import the file to “Google Contacts” using the Internet browser, or alternatively:
  7. Connect the Samsung device to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and use “Contacts” to import it to your phonebook

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: While the methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, alternatively you can use third party applications to share your contacts. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.

  1. Visit the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
  2. Launch the application and tap “Backup”
  3. After the backup file is done, tap “Email”
  4. Send the email containing the vCard backup file attachment to your own address
  5. Switch to the Samsung device and open the email
  6. Download the vCard attachment and import it to your phonebook using “Contacts”

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third party app you can use for transferring iPhone contacts. The app is available on iOS and Android, and uses a peer-2-peer connection to transfer contacts and other file types without requiring a computer.

  1. Go to the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Install the same app on the Samsung device from the Google Play Store
  3. Open the app on both smartphones
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts”
  5. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send”
  6. Lastly, select the desired transfer method on the iPhone or Samsung device, and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process
