Deleting a Group from Phone / Groups

The title says it all!
A new Group was created but is now no longer required. How can the Group title be deleted from the list?

A reply to myself - and anybody else who needs it.

Samsung A5 (2017) Removal of a created 'Group'.

After being so frustrated in not being able to resolve the problem I posted here. The same faeries who let you find a lost tool the day you went out and bought a replacement must have been watching!

Remedy: Contacts / Tap the three dots top right / Groups / Select Group / Tap the three dots top right / Delete / Group only.

Job done.
