Reset Network Settings:
NOTE: Resetting network settings will delete all connection data including saved Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections. In addition, background data sync, data restrictive settings, and network selection mode will be switch to default settings.
- Launch Settings
- Access General Management
- Tap Reset > Reset network settings
- Tap Reset settings
- Enter your PIN/password if necessary, and tap Reset settings
Soft Reset Using Hardware Keys:
NOTE: A soft reset simulates battery removal, and the feature can be useful when the device is frozen and otherwise unresponsive. Applying a soft reset will not affect data stored on the phone/
- Press and hold Power and Volume down for up to 45 seconds
- Wait for the phone to reboot
Hard Reset
NOTE: Hard resetting your phone will delete all user data located on the phones internal memory, including contacts, downloaded content, apps, ringtones etc. Furthermore, all settings will be restored to factory values, but data located on the SIM and SD cards will not be affected.

Hard Reset via Settings:
- Open Settings
- Go to Cloud and accounts
- Tap Backup and restore
- Optionally, enable or disable Back up my data and Restore
- Tap Back to return to Settings
- Go to General Management
- Tap Reset > Factory data reset > Reset device
- If necessary, enter your PIN/password to proceed
- Tap Continue > Delete all to confirm
Hard Reset Using Hardware Keys:
NOTE: If your phone freezes, crashes, or otherwise prevents you from resetting it via Settings, alternatively you can try resetting the phone from the Recovery menu, which can be accessed by performing a combination of key presses.
- First turn the phone off
- Next, press and hold Volume Up and Home at the same time
- At the Android logo, release all the buttons and wait for access to Android System Recovery
- Once in Recovery, press Volume down repeatedly to navigate to and highlight wipe data / factory reset
- Press Power to select the highlighted option
- Press Volume down to highlight yes delete all user data
- Press Power to confirm and reset the phone
- Wait for the phone to complete the reset and highlight Reboot system now
- Press Power one last time to confirm and reboot your device
