How-to: Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro (2018): Block/Unblock Calls & Messages; Manage Call Forwarding; Reset the Call

Block Calls:

1. Launch “Phone”
2. Tap “Menu”
3. Access “Settings”
4. Go to “Block numbers”
5. Perform one of the following steps:
   
   • To block a new phone number: enter it and make sure the match criteria is set to “default”
   • To block a call log entry/contact: launch “Contacts” and access “Recents” or “Contacts”, then select the desired call log entry/contact
   • To block unknown callers: enable “Block unknown callers”

Unblock Calls:

1. Open “Phone”
2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
3. Access “Block numbers”
4. Tap the “-“ symbol associated with the phone number/contact you want to unblock

Block Messages via Settings:

1. Launch “Messages”
2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
3. Access “Block messages” > “Block numbers”
4. Enter the phone number you want to block or tap “+”, go to “Inbox” or “Contacts” and select an existing phone number/contact
5. Tap “Back” to confirm

Block Messages from a Phone Number:

1. Launch “Messages”
2. Tap “Menu”
3. Access “Block numbers” > “Message block”
4. Set the slider “ON”
5. Tap “OK”

Unblock Messages:

1. Open “Messages”
2. Tap “Menu”
3. Go to “Settings” > “Block messages”
4. Tap “Block numbers”
5. Tap the “-“ sign associated with the phone number you want to unblock
6. Tap “Back” to confirm

Reset the Call Log:

1. Launch “Phone”
2. Access “Recents”
3. Tap “Menu” > “Delete”
4. Select the call log entry you want to delete or tap “All”
5. Tap “Delete” to confirm

Enable Call Forwarding:

1. Launch “Phone”
2. Tap “Menu”
3. Access “Settings”
4. Go to “More settings” > “Call forwarding’
5. Select “Always forward”
6. Enter the phone number you want to use for call forwarding
7. Tap “Turn ON” to confirm

Enable Conditional Call Forwarding:

1. Open “Phone”
2. Tap “Menu”
3. Access “Settings” > “More settings”
4. Tap “Call forwarding”
5. Select to “Forward when unanswered”, “Forward when unreachable” or “Forward when busy”
6. Enter the phone number you want to use for call forwarding
7. Tap “Turn ON” to confirm

Disable Call Forwarding:

1. Launch “Phone”
2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
3. Access “More settings”
4. Tap “Call forwarding’
5. If necessary, select the call forwarding option you want to disable
6. Tap “Turn off” to confirm
