Share iPhone Contacts via iTunes:
NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data and contacts with the Android device.
- Launch iTunes on the computer
- Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
- In iTunes, click the iPhone and go to Info
- Enable Sync Contacts With
- Select Google Contacts from the drop-down menu
- Sign in with your Google account or click Configure and select an existing account
- Click Apply
- After the sync is done, switch to the Android device and sign in with the same account used in iTunes
- Allow the account to sync contacts with the Android phone
Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:
NOTE: In case the contacts on your iPhone are backed up on your iCloud account, you can log into the account on a computer with Internet access and share the contacts in a vCard file for use on the Android phone.
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer
- Visit https://www.icloud.com/
- Sign in with your iCloud account
- Access Contacts
- Select the contacts you want to share
- Click Settings > Export vCard
- After the vCard is downloaded, follow one of these steps:
- Open the Internet browser on the PC and import the vCard to Google Contacts or:
- Connect the Android device to the computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and use Contacts to import it to your phonebook
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: Although the methods above require a computer with Internet access, you can also share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app that can back up and share iPhone contacts in a vCard file over email.
- Install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone form the App Store
- Launch the app and tap Backup to create a vCard containing your iPhone contacts
- Once done, send the vCard to your own email address as an attachment
- Switch to the Android device, open the email and download the vCard
- Import the vCard via Contacts
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Another third-party app you can use is Send Anywhere on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-to-peer connection to share contacts and other file types without requiring a computer.
- Install Send Anywhere on the iPhone via the App Store
- Install the app on the Android device via the Play Store
- Open the app on both devices
- On the sender device, tap Send > Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and tap Send
- Choose a transfer method on one of the devices and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
