Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB
- On the phone, enable File Transfer / Media device when prompted or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate and copy the desired audio files from a PC
- Transfer the files to the phone storage, preferably in the Notifications / Ringtones folder(s)
- After the transfer completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open Settings
- Go to Sound and vibration
- Tap Ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap Back
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned for contacts located on the SIM card or the devices internal memory.
- Launch Contacts
- Tap the desired contact
- Go to Details
- Tap Edit > More > Ringtone
- Enable Allow storage permissions and select the desired ringtone
- Tap OK
Change Incoming Email Notification Settings:
- Launch Email
- Tap Menu > Settings
- Go to Manage accounts and select your email address
- Access Notification settings > Email notifications
- Check or clear the boxes associated with Notifications and Vibrate
Change Emergency Alert Settings:
- Launch Messages
- Tap Menu > Settings
- Go to Emergency alert settings
- Tap Emergency alerts
- Enable or disable Imminent severe alerts Imminent extreme alerts and AMBER alerts
