Transfer Audio Files from a PC:

  1. Connect the Android device to the computer via USB
  2. On the phone, enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” when prompted or from the Notification area
  3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Locate the audio files on the PC
  5. Copy and paste the files to the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” and “Notifications” folders
  6. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Access “Sound and vibration”
  3. Tap “Ringtone”
  4. Select the desired ringtone and tap “Back”

Change a Contact’s Ringtone:

NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be set for contacts located on the phone’s internal memory or SIM card.

  1. Open “Contacts”
  2. Select the desired contact
  3. Access “Details”
  4. Tap “Edit” > “More” > “Ringtone”
  5. If necessary, enable “Allow storage permissions”
  6. Select the ringtone you want to assign and tap “OK”

Change Incoming Email Settings:

  1. Launch “Email”
  2. Tap “Menu”
  3. Go to “Settings” > “Manage accounts”
  4. Select your email address
  5. Tap “Notification settings” > “Email notifications”
  6. Tick or clear the check boxes associated with “Notifications” and “Vibrate”

Change Emergency Alert Settings:

  1. Open “Messages”
  2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
  3. Go to “Emergency alert settings” > “Emergency alerts”
  4. Enable or disable “Imminent severe alerts” “Imminent extreme alerts” and “AMBER alerts”
