    Back Up App Data:

    1. Launch “Settings” and access “Cloud and account”
    2. Tap “Backup & Restore”
    3. Enable “Back up my data” to back up app data, settings, and Wi-Fi passwords to your backup account
    4. Enable “Automatic Restore” to allow app data, settings, and Wi-Fi passwords to be restored automatically when reinstalling apps or logging in with the backup account

    Back Up Contacts:

    1. Open “Contacts”
    2. Access “Cloud and account”
    3. Select “Accounts”
    4. Tap the desired backup account and enable “Contacts”
    5. Tap “Menu” > “Sync Now”

    Back Up Contacts to SD Storage:

    1. Launch “Contacts”
    2. Tap “Menu” and access “Settings”
    3. Switch to “All contacts”
    4. Go to “Import/Export” and select “Export to SD”
    5. Tap “OK” to confirm

    Back Up Media Files to Phone Storage:

    1. Launch “My Files”
    2. Access “Internal storage”
    3. Tap “Menu” > “Share” and select the desired contacts
    4. Tap “Share” and select a backup location

    Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
    2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” on the phone, when prompted or from the Notification area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Navigate to the phone storage
    5. Copy the media files and transfer them to the desired backup location on the PC
    6. After the process completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port

    Back Up Media Files on a Mac:

    NOTE: Skip the first 3 steps if Samsung Kies is already installed on the Mac.

    1. Launch the Internet browser on the Mac
    2. Visit https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/kies/
    3. Click “Download for Mac” and install Kies
    4. Connect the Samsung device to the Mac via USB
    5. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” on the phone, at the prompt or from the Notification area
    6. Launch Kies on the Mac
    7. Go to “Back up / Restore” and access “Backup”
    8. Tick the boxes next to the media files you want to back up
    9. Click “Backup” to begin the process
    10. After the process completes, eject the phone storage by dragging the virtual drive from the desktop and dropping it over the “trash can”
    11. Safely disconnect the phone from the USB port

    Download, install and launch Samsung Kies on your computer,which is an excellent way to backup Samsung contacts as well as media files.With it,you can transfer contacts,media files to computer easily.
