Also let me know if you have that problem with the "Lake" wallpaper after you flash your firmware. Are you using Optiflash 3.6 to flash your phone?

You are pathetic. I am completely insulted. It's not like me to just flame some user like this, but isn't the point of this forum is to share info. The fact that you would come on here, show off about unlocking, and then offer to help by putting up an auction? Are you some kind of newb? You don't just stroll into the free clinic and say that you found a cure for the common cold, but you want cash before you are telling the doctor what it is. I unlocked my x426 v1.6 also, but when someone else used my method, they got the locked message. Proof that it isn't always the same for everyone. Anyway, for anyone who doesn't want to pay, I have 3 different unlocking programs that will easily allow you to unlock your phone.
Cell phones unlocking is like opening a door. It's not about what's behind the door. It's the fact that there is someone else's lock on one of your doors.

x426 Unlocking, Software, Firmware, Mods, Codes, and Assembly are all available at my site, along with many other resources for Samsung phones.

ok this are the stuff i have/used
Samsung x426 phone with firmware v1.7
    USB Datacable off ebay
    optiflash 3.6
    firmware v1.6 files

i was playing around with my new data cable and uploading pics and ringtones then i couldn't find a way to delete them then i punched in some codes and then Phone Locked Return for Servicing crap happened to me so i had no choice to reflash to phone.

    shut off my phone
    plugged in the datacable
ran optiflash and selected the v1.6 firmware
    hit flash
hit the on/off button when it tells u so
    wait....
then bingo update/flash of firmware complete
    close the optiflash prog
    unplugged the data cable
    turned on the phone
ta da! its working and now unlocked

u can find the v1.6 firmware and optiflash from roswell108's website

    roswell108 u da man

    roswell,

You are awesome good work your doing and its awesome the way your contributing to the community.

Just had to give you major props before i post!

    Im working with a X426 1.6

started by running the malloc fail, of course didnt work.

then tried the 7337 and it locked the phone, then for the fast 5 hrs I have been working between optiflash and other programs but im having a failure in optiflash.

When I select the file to flash with it comes up with an error.

    "[ERR_WRONG_LOADERFILE]"

I tried this on two different computers as per my "Beast" is getting the windows blue screen of death whenever i try it.

    any thoughts?

    -Rick

it worked for me. at first I was scared because it read "Phone locked, return for service". so what I did is take out the battery, and enter *#9998*3323# and then I hit option number 7 and then it worked. Now the phone is unlocked.

If I re-flash my X426 using optflash and then How do I change the IMEI?

Is there any other way to unlock it with flashing?

I'm just chicken to flash it as it might screw up the whole thing.

    Please help....

Hi, I'm new to this board, so please bear with me if this is a question that's been answered a million times already.

I have the x426, and have the data cable, and downloaded easygprs. I have no problem transferring ringing tones and pictures to my phone, but the file manager doesnt work (you can't even click on it through the menu).

I want to put some games on the phone, thats the main reason why i got the data cable in the first place.

Do any of you guys know any other ways i can transfer games onto the phone?
