Hello,
I purchased Samsung A620 phones from SprintPCS a few months ago. Recently I added, or tried to add, SprintPCS Vision services to both phones. It worked fine on my phone but not on my wife's phone. I spent nearly 1.5 hours on the phone with SprintPCS tech support trying all sorts of "modifications" to the phone, all without success. They finally told me I needed to have my wife's phone reflashed at a SprintPCS customer support center. So I took the phone to a center (Northgate area of Seattle) only to find that though they normally have a technician on site for such purposes that said technician would be gone for the month (yes the entire &%&*$&%$&& month!) of August.
I have a USB cable for the phone that I use with a product called DataPilot (phone book management basically). I would like to find a copy of the flash file and attempt to reflash the phone myself. Does anyone know where I can find such a file? I don't know whether the flash file would be a Samsung file or a SprintPCS file though I suspect the latter.
Needless to say, I'm not happy with this (dis)service from SprintPCS. Any help in this regard will be much appreciated.
Cheers,
Jim
