Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum and need your help. I have a Samsung x427. I do not have internet access with my phone and I don't want to pay Cingular 1.99 per ringtone to download to my phone. I would like to transfer ringtones that I have saved on my hard drive to my phone. Is this possible? Can you tell me what I will need in order to be able to do this. I have read where the Datapilot software will allow you to do this. Is this my only option or are there other options. I would greatly appreciate any information on this that you could share with me.

    thanks in advance.

    x427 software

you'll need a data cable for the phone. you can get one on e-bay cheap or try cellcables.com - that's where i got mine. it came with the cable and some really good software that has a great deal of tones and animations for the phone. it was a little tricky installing the modem and the software to make it work but patience paid off it works great now.
