a680 stuck in offline mode

my samsung a680 is stuck in offline mode...due to liquid damage...the phone will not dial out or receive. Everything works still on the phone though perfectly i.e camera, camcorder etc... the reps at samsung said that it needs to be flashed with original software(firmware) I cant send it to them though cause bell wont send it due to liquid damage ( I made the mistake of telling them) so I want to flash it myself I have a data cable and need the firmware. anyone have an idea??

hey, is it the whole phone that needs to get fixed or is it just the battery? the same thing is going on with my phone right now (hottub did me in) and i was wondering if just buying a new battery would fix it?
