Samsung SGH-D307 wallpaper issue

I just bought a D307 and I am having problems with sizing the wallpapers I downloaded onto my phone. I used Zedge and downloaded some wallpapers that were the correct resolution for my phone (176x220). However, once they downloaded and saved, the phone always resizes them smaller than they really are so that they will not fill up the screen and end up as little icons in the middle. Any ideas on how I can solve this problem? Thanks.

ok here is what i found out
i have a samsung d807 and my screen size is 176x220 and all i did was type in my screen size in my browser like this
176x220 wallpaper and a buntch came up try here
