When do you punch in *#06#? I do that, and when I click Menu/OK it asks me to save the number.

Re: *Updated* How to unlock samsungs. DO NOT post unlock code requests!
This is how to unlock T619:
This unlock code should work for Samsung T619 if you follow carefully:
1-Put the non T-Mobile SIM card in the phone.
2- Turn on the phone, "wrong sim" should appear on the screen.
3-Dial *2767*3855# and wait. The phone will reboot, and the non T-Mobile SIM card in the phone will work, but this is only a temporary unlock step
4-Dial *7465625*638*00000000*00000000#.The phone will say it is personalized.
5-Dial #7465625*638*00000000# .The phone is now unlocked permanently.
6-Dial *#7465625# to check the lock status.

Re: *Updated* How to unlock samsungs. DO NOT post unlock code requests!
I have a strange one... I tried unlocking my Samsung E530 with codes and I got it unlocked to the provider I want (T-Mobile), but it says "Wrong SIM card" to every other network (except Orange, which was the default network)! Here's what I tried (copied and pasted):
"1. Turn off your phone, put in a SIM of a provider that it is not locked to, and turn it back on.
2. At the wrong card message, type *#9998*3323#. A message will pop up telling you to press exit, so hit the right softkey. Choose number 7 (or 8 or 9 work, I think). Your phone will reboot and your SIM will work.
3. Type *0141# and then hit call. This will give you a message saying your phone is personalized.
4. Power down your phone and insert a SIM card other than the one that is in it. Power back up your phone.
5. At the SIM code prompt type 00000000, that is 8 zeroes.
6. Your phone should now be unlocked."
However afterwards, if you try another network, it MAY NOT accept it and will ALSO ask you to put in the SIM lock code. This is "00000000", and it will keep asking you to put it in. I bypassed this by using a SIM that works (either T-Mobile or Orange for me) and going to SETTINGS > SECURITY> SIM LOCK. Here you can deactivate it by using the same "00000000" code. The warning won't appear again when you restart the phone. If you screw up somehow and can't get rid of the SIM lock, you may need to do the Custom EEPROM Reset code (*2767*2878#).
You will lose all your settings, but your downloaded files will remain intact... if you managed to follow all that, MY problem is how to make it COMPLETELY unlocked to all networks?Last edited by Syreeta; 04-24-2007 at 10:34 AM.

Re: *Updated* How to unlock samsungs. DO NOT post unlock code requests!
i have a Samsung SGH-X500 and no matter what Sim card i put in it. It just asks for the pin number and i put it in then it asks for "sim lock" code. I've tried eight zeros, eight ones etc. Nothing works... Original provider was O2 i guess because it has a O2 logo on the back. The only thing i can do is turn it on without a sim card and use some code to get to a couple options which do nothing but restart or freeze the phone. I've tried two sim cards on this thing a tmobile and a vodaphone... help would be much appreciated.
