Re: *Updated* How to unlock samsungs. DO NOT post unlock code requests!

I tried the above tip on unlocking samsungs, but it did not work on my
    samsung sgh-s300m celly.

when i got imei and entered it after the *2767*688 it says wrong number.
i added everything before the / then with it. without it. with last number, tried every combo but nothing works. im with fido unlocking a rogers phone.

gotta send mine in for repairs and need another temp phone. rogers phones are temp. my fido needs fixin.

    any tips for this model?

Two things to think about: 1st - any positive messages about the software are likely posted from the company itself. 2nd - call Samsung directly and they will reflash your phone for free including shipping. Although it takes a few weeks to get it back. It's really your only choice if your local AT&T store cannot reflash your phone. If you have had a similar experience with this company, please contact me about a group effort to contact the the FTC with complaints by clicking reply. Single complaints are ignored by the FTC.
This guy asaulnier has a habit to not tell the whole story. So for everybody to make up their own mind this is the story:

He tried unlocking + unfreezing his Samsung and he had some trouble, perhaps because his phone has some corrupt data or he just didn't read the manual properly and then he used a different function in our software and used up his credits by pressing the 'Reset user code' button which costs 3 credits (which is clearly stated). And then he went complaining he demanded his money back without even asking for help like normal people.

In our courtesy we told him we can't refund him because he already used his credits but we offered him to reinstate his credits and our support to help him through the process of unlocking and repairing his phone. He refused and started making stupid threats about 'bringing us down' and about 'FTC complaints'.

We tried helping this person but if people refuse our help we can't do very much and we will definitely not have some dude make threats about FTC blabla.

And about the story that only Samsung and AT&T can fix phone freeze is nonsense, but I guess most of you already know that. Of course Samsung will say officially only they can do it. Officially those million of unlock shops around the world can't unlock / repair your phone either. ignorance is a bless. sometimes.

    Best regards,

P.s. and apparently he likes to spam also as he also posted this in other message which have NOTHING to do with 'his problem'

Has this been known to work or not work with Samsung E210 or C300?

    *rules for this thread*

    - no asking for codes
    - no posting imei or esn numbers
    - follow general cpf rules

this may not work on all samsung phones! the only way to know if it works for your phone is to try it yourself if it is not posted below.

this is the temp unlock code for a samsung phone

do this at your own risk:

    instructions
press *#06# and write down your imei
    unlock codes
code 1: *2767*688 then your imei and then press #
for example *2767*688352708000828246# (everything before the / for c225)
    code 2: *0141#
    code 3: 00000000 (8 zero's)

    entering the codes
    1. Switch your phone off. Remove the original sim card

    2. Insert another sim card from an alternative network. Power up your
phone. You should now see the "wrong card" message.

    3. Type code 1 into your phone, if this is entered correctly your
phone screen should now turn black and reboot itself. (c225 doesn't go
    black but does reboot)

    4. After the phone reboots the sim card will be recognized and your
sim will work. Be patient while your phone reboots and do not press
any keys. At this point the phone is "temporarily" unlocked.

    5. Now at your idle screen type in code 2 (*0141#) and hit the call button.
This should give you a message saying the phone is "personalized".

    6. Power off the phone and insert the original sim, then power up.

    7. At the sim code prompt, it will ask you to enter a password. At
    this stage enter code 3.

    8. After entering hit "ok" and your phone should complete initialization.

    [/b]instructions[/b]
press *#06# and write down your imei
    unlock codes
code 1: *2767*688 then your imei and then press #

    this stage enter code 3.

    8. After entering hit "ok" and your phone should complete initialization.

Your phone is now permanently unlocked.

    ------------------------------------------------------------

another easy way is you put in a foreign sim put in the code *2767*2878# much easier and works just the same.

    ------------------------------------------------------------

    *2767*688 <your imei number>

    or

    *2767*688 <your imei number> #

    faq’s of unlocking

q: Can i /what will unlocking my sprint, verizon, or other cdma do?

A: Well... Technically, you could unlock it, however, it would serve no purpose, unless you find the right software (called a flex, not to be confused with flash), with the specific netowrk's software embedded in it. Your phone has something called an "esn number" programmed in it, which is specific to each and every phone. This number has all of your phone's information programmed into it. If it doesn't appear in your carrier's database - you won't be able to use it. If you manage to slip by, which is very rare, you won't be able to use it because it does not have the provider's software on it (the flex).

    Q: Is unlocking dangerous?

A: Theroetically, there is no danger in unlocking, unless you are preforming a software downgrade (ie: Bootloader in motorola phones).
is this safe? I have a samsung a737 and i do know my imei number. I have looked all over the internet and some people have said their cell phones have froze after entering codes or whatnot. Even getting the codes from at&t sometimes they have frozen too.

    Hi

No this is NOT safe. Some phones end up in 'phone freeze' message. Other get their calibration settings damaged (even worse; as it is more difficult to repair) and you can also damage your IMEI which is on some models still impossible to repair.

If you want to unlock it securely better pay a small amount for it, in that case you will also receive support in case of any troubles.

    Best regards,

    Hi,

Sgh-t459 (gravity), T-mobile for service. Unacceptable sim card is a Net10.

"Wrong Card" never appears for me, just "Sim Crash"

    Any Ideas?
