For the life of me, I can't get my MP3 to work as a ringer on my Samsung phone, and my phone can play MP3's. I can DL my tune, save it and even set it as my ringer, but when someone calls me, it doesn't ring, it just vibrates; but if I set one of the crappy Midis that came with the phone as my ringer, it rings just fine. I've done test after test after test and each time, my normal Midis work fine but not my MP3.

I'm looking at phonescoop...
Only supports POLYPHONIC ringtones...
... music player supports MP3
I don't think you can set MP3's as ringtones

what format are polyphonic ringtones in then? and... what should we convert our mp3's into so they can be used on the phone as ringtones?
