Hey, i currently own a samsung m610, which has been giving me problems such as freezing, turning of when ever it wants and the inside and outside displays going blank randomly.

I am looking at the samsung upstage m620 but am not sure weather to get it or not.

Please post your negative or positive opinons on this phone, hopefully making my decison quicker and smoother.

    Thanks, Jack

Re: Any Input On Samsung Upstage M620

I bought my wife the Upstage last week after she left her LG out in the rain over night. Yes I think it was done on prupose =p

I like the phone alot. It has many great features such as the offline music player, bluetooth, and the touch pad on it is a nice innovative design by samsung. Granted until you set the sensitivity where you want it, and learn that a quick brush is better than a solid contact, it's frustrating. The camera is 1.3 megapixel, but takes surprisingly nice photos. For a phone anyway.

The only issues I've found thus far is with the bluetooth. I have 3 headsets and it will not connect to any of them (motorola hs815, hs820, and a southwing). It will connect to my Motolora L2, and to just about any phone out there with bluetooth. On the Sprint website it mentions that only contact sharing is capable but i've transfered ringers, photos. contacts, and music to, and from it.

All in all its a great little phone, and I would highly recommend it to users who are proficient.

    Thanks for the feedback.

Just curious how you are able to transfer the ringtones... via bluetooth.
    I LOVE TO HELP!

Re: Any Input On Samsung Upstage M620

I have a Motorola L2 that was issued to me for work, and I linked the 2 devices. From there you can select to send the ringer from one device to the other. I also did this with my father-in-laws Samsung he has through T-Mobile. I copied a ringer from my wife's Upstage to his phone. It worked flawlessly. Just remember that most PIN numbers for phones, and headsets is 0000 unless otherwise stated in the documentation.

I have a pretty good feel for Sprint services, and phones. This could be because I was a Trouble Management rep for SprintPCS for 4 years

Re: Any Input On Samsung Upstage M620

I just got my upstage phone and I hate it. It is so difficult to navigate thru the options, i find that i have to keep trying over and over just to get voicemail because the pad is so sensitive (no matter what setting i have it on) and it takes terrible pictures. But it looks good!

Re: Any Input On Samsung Upstage M620

I have the m620 and i really dont like it... I've never bought a 'fancy' phone before (pretty practical person) but thought I'd indulge this one time.

The touch pad is utterly ridiculous. It really didn't need to be a touch pad and I wish it wasn't.

I constantly hit the back or end button by accident and when I actually want to hit buttons it doesn't register.

I'm about 3 months in to owning this phone and I rarely use the touch pad side anymore just because it's such a hassle. Unfortunately, you HAVE to use the other side in order to read a text message unless you are previewing a newly received one. Extremely frustrating.

The case is very innovative in that it has a built in battery, and yes, battery life is good. However, you look like a tool talking on the phone while it is in the case. The tiniest phone ever and you have this huge flap hanging off your face from the case..

Bottom line - nice try but no cigar.
