Contact won't Ring

I have the M500 and I'm having problems. I've made / downloaded ringtones to the phone which work great. For some reason I set a downloaded ringer for my contacts and it will only ring with the ringer that I have for incoming calls, not the one I assigned to that contact. I even tried putting all my contacts into one group and changing the group ringtone to one of my downloaded ones, but it still picks the ringer that I have for incoming calls. Any help, or something that I'm possible doing wrong.....tks

Nevermind....must have been slipped some retard pills this morning.....all I had to do is put in the area code and it works fine
