Samsung SCH-I760 broken screen

Hey all...
I broke the screen on my i760, I found one online. Has anyone ever removed the front cover to get to the screen? I removed the screws behind the half of the phone the screen's on but still can't get the front to pop off.

did any of you try to GOOGLE a video concerning disassembling the phone and stop dissing everybody

anyways, my experience with these 'sliding' phones, u'll HAVE to disassemble the phone from the battery compartment section FIRST and work your way to the LCD section itself!!! thats the ONLY way to get the LCD removed, I repeat ONLY

It will be a pain at first, having to go thru about 12 to 18 screws just to get to the LCD assembly itself

A friend of mine tried to replace a broken screen on a sliding phone and he messed up something and had to buy a new phone. If you are unsure of what you are doing just pay someone who knows how to do it. It will be cheaper than buying a new phone.
