I have been able to transfer from my mac to the delve, with bluetooth and with the cable that comes with it, i can see and play the ringtone, but it is unable to be set as a ringtone.

I have Alltel, I know that they have issues and maybe thats the problem...
    Hope that helped.

    Re: Samsung Delve Ringtones?

OK, I got you....it's kind of long and convoluted but here goes....

First put whatever mp3 you want to use as a ringtone into a separate folder. Change the folder's settings so that it shows the entire name of the ringtone complete with extension (.mp3). Next rename the file, but only change the mp3 to qcp. Then bluetooth it to your phone. It will show up in the "my sounds". It is ready to go. Since you don't have a lot of phone memory, try using a program like Audacity to cut pieces of the song out and then bluetooth the part you want.

BTW, my phone would only show up as a mass storage device when I plugged the usb cable into my phone first, selected mass storage, and then plugged the usb end into the cpu. Weird.

Ascending ringtone baloney...call your service provider and tell them to increase the number of rings before your voice mail picks up....mine's at 11 and i can catch all of my calls now.

    Hope all this helps..good luck.

Go to myxer.com and you can send your mp3's to your Delve as ringtones.

I pull out my memory chip and use a MSI Bluetooth dongle to transfer mp3's to phone. Once on phone the mp3 shows in 'my ringtones'. When done transferring I just put memory card back in.

I first used my Razor to transfer mp3's to my Delve via Bluetooth but that got old and I bought the MSI BToes 2.0 USB dongle for $10, which makes it way easy.

The cable that comes with phone works for charging and using the phone as a flash drive only. Any mp3's go directly to the card and not the phone memory.

I tried myxer.com with US cellular and it doesn't work.

I have been using myxer for a week to put ringtones on my Delve .
I have US Cellular so I don't know why it doesn't work for anyone else.

When you go to myxer to sign up an account if you don't select any phone you will be able to send ringtones to the delve.

This thread is great.. I was beginning to think that no one on the internets cared about delve users. Certainly Samsung and alltel don't.

I followed the link sent via the txt (for myxer), chose QCP as the format and it gets to the download ringtone screen.. I click on this link and nothing seems to happen. If it is saving it, where is it going? I checked all of the folders in multimedia.

Additionally, what is the "save item" option in preferences in the web browser?

    Re: Samsung Delve Ringtones?

I have to re_type my message. Forbid me to use helpful links.

Christ, I guess I can't even type out websites names, not in link format. I will try one more time. If that don't work, then everyone can figure out their own problems just like I had to. Sorry.

Forget it guys. I tried typing in the names of programs, with no "ww.", or ".com" and it will not let me post because I have not had 20 posts. If anyone wants my way of making ring tones and make it work, at least it does with alltel, please feel free to e-mail me. Just put Delve Help or similar as the subject. Sorry I couldn't try to help out the site with my info. No way. Now I have to figure how to put my address on here! let me try to ***** it out for you. My name is Frank Herald. My e-mail address is my name all lower case and together. Of coarse I use "g"mail so you have to put the @ symbol after my name, and don't forget to put a "dot" com after the word "g"mail. Boy, I sure hope when I hit post this time the wonderful site doesn't kick this one out! Getting tired of a paragraph to tell my e-mail address!

I use Soundbooth to make my ringtones for my Samsung Delve but when I change the .mp3 to .qcp format and put them on my phone the sound volume is very low. Even after I go in Soundbooth and make the clip louder. Can someone help me?

    Re: Samsung Delve Ringtones?

I just got my Delve on the 15th and I love how easy it is to text, but good grief could they make downloading songs any harder?

UGH! I'm almost ready to take it back and get a Curve!
