W580i problems

My W580i has recently developed a problem that is going to have it end up in the trash.

When the phone rings it sends the caller to voicemail. I beleive it happens as soon as the silver bar is pressed on the upper left side of the phone. Very hard to pull the phone out of a pocket without touching this bar.

Has anyone else had this problem abd is there a cure.

I went to the store that I started my service with and was told that, the phone is operating properly...it did not work this way for the first year.

My advice to is to go through fixya's w580i problem page if the answer isn't there post a question it won't take lonk before you get an answer, there are quite a few cell experts there.
