Help adding java to basic samsungs

I have perused the forum, and found several questions asking about how to add java progs to a basic Samsung phone, but no answers. I have a new Rugby that I like the the toughness, weight, and general feel of. The only thing I want to add is a book-reader. Does anyone know how to add java progs to these phones?
