SGH-a256 driver

Hi,
I've read that with the New PC Studio you can transfer pictures from the phone to the PC, but can you transfer pictures from the PC to the phone? To use as wallpaper... That's all I really want, and I want to know if it's possible before I buy the USB cable. Thanks!

Not sure but ill give it a try, you can also send the pics to your pc from your phone just send pic like a pic message and hit send type in your e-mail and it will e-mail you the pics but will try the software metioned

yo can i get alil assistance here as well
first of all, i bought the usb cable, i can transfer the file into my phone, the mp3s i can use it as alarm clock, but not ringtone

heard about the DRM Packager
and heard that it had to be configured so this is what i did
open ericsson DRM packager
selected my mp3
options
change the DRM method to 'combined delivery'
click ok, a box comes up
clicked enable right
changed start time to todays date
end time set it 1 year away clicked ok
once thats done
i clicked on create DRM content
now i get my song, which is a brown box and a gold lock on it and a 'Rights folder'
what i did now is send the song to my phone, which it can only be played or alarm clock
then i saw the ringtone folder in the New PC Studio 1.3.0.IH4
so i tried dragging it in there and it says doesn't support the file

i think that was what i got from a different forum
so am i missing something here ?
still can't get it to play as ringtone

any help would be gold
since i want this thing to at least play custom ringtones

Well I think Rogers did it again. now when I try to get a ringtone on the phone using new pc studio, I get the ringtone on the phone but when I try to set it as a ringtone it is blacked out and cannot use as a ringtone. anyone else experiencing same problem?

Yes you can put pics from your computer to the cell and use as wallpaper using NEW pc studio

I figured ringtones out again woo hoo....ok I had Mp3 I did the DRM packager thing and emailed myself the drm file as attachment (VIA computer) I then went on the cell and went to my yahoo account....I then downloaded the attachment....renamed (when it asked) and took off the first word wich was "downloaded" and renamed it something else ( dont think you need to do this but....) then went into the cells audio folder under downloaded ringtones found file and was able to set ringtone.

so

DRM mp3 file
sent yourself EMAIL from computer to cell
log in cell and go to your email account
download file
rename
save


OH AND FREE GAMES HERE TOO JUST FOUND OUT

I am having the same problem!!

THIS IS HOW I GET IT TO WORK

1 Obtain your ringtone (mp3)
2 open SONY ERRICSON DRM PACKAGER GUI
3 Click ADD
4 Select RINGTONE (mp3)
5 Then Click CREATE DRM CONTENT

*what it will do is put a folder called "DRM" (usually located were ever the mp3 file was)

NOW ON YOUR COMPUTER

(I use YAHOO mail.....its free....and I have 2 accounts)

1 Sign into a yahoo account
2 Send a new Email to your (my) other email account and attach the Ringtone in the DRM folder. (it will look like a lock etc)

On the Cell

1 Log into the YAHOO account through the mobile browser
2 Open email
3 click on attachments
4 click on file
5 scroll down AFTER VIEW there will be a DOWNLOAD <--click on that

It will download to the phone and after it is done you can go through the menu options and select your ringtone AS a ringtone no more is it Blocked
