are there major differences between the solstice and the impression minus the slide out keyboard? is it worth the little extra cash?

Re: impression and solstice...differences?
Well, the Solstice also has the voice activated dialing that the Impression doesn't have

Based on experience with both the Samsung Eternity and now the Solstice, I would say you don't need the Impressions's slide out keyboard. The virtual touch screens keyboard is excellent on both Eternity and Solstice - so yes, why pay extra for the slide out keyboard, unless you just can't handle a virtual one? I have never had an easier time typing on a virtual screen that with these two models. Beats the heck out of iPhone virtual keyboards I have tried, too!

Re: impression and solstice...differences?
I agree unless your a heavy texter. In my opinion samsungs keyboards are great. The keys are spaced nicely apart and they raise up for easy recognition. If they had a keyboard like that on an htc phone it's be great. Aside from the Touch Pro2.
