A new touchscreen handset has been announced today by called the SHW-A170K. This handset is the first handset in South Korea with NFC, Near Field Communication support. The SHW-A170K is almost the same handset that was announced this past October by KT, but comes with a slightly different button icons.
Being that the Samsung SHW-A170K supports NFC, this feature will allow users to either buy or pay for services using their phones. Another feature includes the capability to read and write RFID tags which should be implemented sometime in the near future.
Other features include: a 3.2-inch touchscreen display, 3MP camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, Easy Sharing feature, T-DMB and 3.5mm headphone jack.
