It seems like Samsung has it going on for them this year and according to an event that took place in California, Samsung is planning on improving on their technologies for next year.

Samsung is currently working on bringing more horsepower for their processors and they are working with CPU/GPU providers to help them. The additional horsepower is necessary for Samsung to launch a Galaxy Tab that will have a 2560×1600 pixel display.

Not only is Samsung working on increasing the horsepower of it's processor but they are also working on a "pure cloud smartphone in 2012,” in which Samsung may be working on developing its own Cloud OS.
