Install this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/d....wifi.analyzer
Is it showing that you're getting a data connection?

Re: Cannot use browser on samsung discover prepaid wifi only
You should have a google play application on the phone. If you can't connect to it then there is definitely something not configured correctly with the wifi connection.
Have you tried connecting to a different wifi network?

Re: Cannot use browser on samsung discover prepaid wifi only
Well husband pack from walk . tried to access play store and i had no problems . I then went to browser and did a search for a web site and found it no problem . I discovered that under wifi settings the reason i could not access the wifi was because the setting for data roaming was off but for the last couple days the mobile data usage was in the off position and now it is on . I guess that was the trouble
