    Hello guys.

I just got a Samsung Galaxy A50, and downloaded Samsung’s SmartSwitch and installed it to the Galaxy.

I have also installed SmartSwitch onto a Sony Xperia, Android Version 4.4.2.

I have been told that in order to transfer Data between the phones I need to get Android Version 4.3. However, when I connect the Xperia to the computer, it shows it is Up-to-date.

When I tried to run SmartSwitch on the Xperia, I get a message, ‘Unsupported file type’.

Since I cannot upgrade to 4.3 on the Xperia, can someone advise me on this, please.

    Thank you.

To Transfer Data from Sony Xperia E1 to Samsung Galaxy, if both of them in your hands, Mobile Phone Transfer program is your best choice. You just need a PC. After install it on your PC, start it. Connect both of them to the same computer via usb cables, open the USB debugging on them. A short time scan later, data will be scanned out. Then you can transfer them directly.

Use gmail account to sync data from Sony to Samsung, just register one gmail account on chrome, add google account to sony, then we can sync all data to google account, sign in google account on Samsung then upload data on google account to Samsung.
