Install Whatsapp

I have a new phone and am trying to install Whatsapp. In the process it asks for my phone number. If I put it in (6 digits) it says it is too short and I should put in the area code. I put in the area code (3 digits in my country) and it says it is too long. =How can I procede?

Better not to do it. Install Telegram instead.

As far as I know WhatsApp automatically detect your area or country when you open it but if WhatsApp doesn't not select your country then click on select country in the right corner of your mobile screen then select your country and put your number and press okay you will get a 6 digit code via sms put into FMWhatsApp and enjoy using it.

Thank you so much for sharing this info which really help me to fix my issue.

As for me there are a lot of another apps which are better( Telegram, Viber, etc)
