Viewing the Amount of Free SD Card Space:

  1. While on the home screen, tap the "Applications" icon
  2. Find and tap "Settings"
  3. Tap "Storage" under "Device"
  4. The amount of free SD Card storage is shown as the "Available" value under "SD Card"

Formatting the SD Card:

WARNING! Formatting the SD Card will result in deletion of all data stored on the card. If necessary, create a backup before proceeding.

  1. While on the home screen, tap the "Applications" icon
  2. Go to "Settings"
  3. Scroll to "Device" and touch "Storage"
  4. Tap "Erase SD card" located under "SD card"
  5. Tap "Erase SD card" again to confirm, and then follow any additional on-screen prompts

Setting the SD Card as the Default Memory Storage for your Camera:

By default, your handset's default storage location is set to the built-in ROM. If you wish to set your SD card the default storage location, then follow the steps below:

  1. Tap the "Camera" icon located on the home screen
  2. Tap the "Settings" icon
  3. Go to "Data storage"
  4. Select "SD card"

Opening or Deleting Files on the SD Card Using Your Device:

  1. Tap the "Applications" icon located on the home screen
  2. Select "File Commander"
  3. If you are prompted, tap "Register later" to skip this particular step. (Alternatively, you can tap "Register now" and then follow the on-screen prompts)
  4. Select the desired folder and perform one of the following options:
    • To open a file, find and select it
    • To Delete files:
      1. Navigate to the file that you wish to remove
      2. Tap and hold the file's name
      3. Select "Delete"
      4. Press "OK" to confirm

Opening or Deleting Files Using a Computer:

  1. Connect your smartphone to your PC using the USB cable that came with your handset
  2. On the "Windows Explorer" window that appears on your computer, double click on "Browse files"
  3. Navigate to your SD card and open the folder containing the files that you wish to delete
  4. Right click the files and then click on "Delete"
  5. Once finished, safely disconnect your smartphone from your PC

Transferring Files Between Your SD Card and Computer:

  1. Connect your smartphone to your PC with the USB cable
  2. Double-click on "Browse files" in the Windows Explorer window that appears on your computer's display
  3. Navigate to the desired folder inside your smartphone's SD card
  4. Copy the desired files to / from your PC / SD card
  5. Once you're done copying, click the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon located in your PC's system tray
  6. Click on "Safely Remove Mass Storage Device"
  7. Click "OK"
  8. You can now disconnect your smartphone from your PC

Transferring Files Between Internal Storage and SD Card:

  1. Tap the "Applications" icon located on the home screen
  2. Press "File Commander"
  3. Navigate to the files that you wish to transfer
  4. Mark the checkboxes associated with the folders or files that you wish to transfer
  5. Touch "Copy"
  6. Navigate to the location where you wish to move the files
  7. Tap "Edit" and then tap "Paste"
